A New Mission

When I retired after 30+ years of work in the fire service and at Miami University, I knew I wanted to continue to make a difference in our community. My wife Nancy and I began to talk about what our own family members need as they are aging, and we realized that many people don’t have a son or daughter nearby or neighbor to lend a hand with the little tasks that are part of maintaining a home. I decided that my “retirement job” is going to be a business serving seniors. My goal is to be a neighborly handyman who can help make some of the challenges of aging at home easier to manage.

I also hope to be a resource for people living with chronic health conditions that make home maintenance tasks more troublesome or difficult. My family’s challenges have shown me that strength, mobility, dexterity, endurance and balance can all be impacted by chronic illness or injury.
