What makes Oxford and the township areas surrounding it so special? In my view, it is the extent to which we support and care for each other, and try to do something good with the gifts we are given. Each of us plays a part in building and maintaining a beloved community.
I served as a Somerville volunteer Firefighter, Lieutenant, and eventually Captain for that reason. Providing affordable handyman help for seniors is my next effort to fill a need for our community.
Below you’ll find some links to people and organizations working to make Oxford and the local townships better. Let me know if you have someone to add- we can all use a little inspiration, good news, and ways to connect with each other.
